“Odrex” Corporation is a manufacturer of high-tech gaming equipment for arcades and high-level equipment for “live” casinos. Innovations in different aspects of solutions starting from software, design developments and high-quality materials, used in manufacturing, allow “Odrex” company to occupy the leading place among international manufacturers. Corporation’s manufactured equipment is supplied and operates in more than 10 countries of the world. The company has its own Representation offices in Spain, Peru, Columbia, and Georgia.

Business challenge

For effective functioning of a real casino, it is necessary to have not only slot machines, terminals and roulettes, but also a whole complex of providing software. In the 90s, Visual Basic desktop applications were developed for the needs of casinos in Odrex, which served slot machines, collected and processed data in one gaming hall. But after the advent of web technologies, there was a growing need to replace existing software with new one. There was also a need to adapt the hardware infrastructure for modern web solutions. This need increased every year, reaching the point when business development was simply impossible without replacing the outdated casino management system with a new modern IT solution that includes hardware and software that is designed to track players, ensure security and monitoring, cash and accounting, analyze behavior, and a combination of all of these factors.

Project description

Chief Technical Officer of the Odrex Corporation, Sergey Los, turned to us for help in a small project in 2015, and already after 6 months, LineUp became the main technology partner of the corporation. For 3 years of close cooperation, we have jointly developed and implemented many solutions that were embodied into a single casino management system called CashLess. Working on the model of both outsourcing and outstaffing, we turned CashLess into a progressive management system for medium-sized casinos that has no analogues in the market. The system has been integrated with all the business processes of the gambling halls, and has opened up new opportunities for business development in the Odrex casino network around the world. Working together with Odrex experts has allowed us to become subject matter experts in casino domain and offer the highest level of immersion in the client’s business. Over the years of cooperation, we have gained invaluable experience in the development, integration, and testing of complex software and hardware systems.

CashLess casino management system developed by us allows administrators, hall administrators, analysts, and accountants to save time on processing and managing daily operations, thereby increasing the level of customer service, which, in turn, helps to maintain customer retention.
We have implemented the following modules of the system:
Stakes control system – software that controls the entire casino management system

Module for managing communications between slot machines, terminals, roulettes, and central server

Visitor registration – the module is designed to register, collect statistics, record visits, issue personal cards and solve many other tasks. Various search criteria allow you to quickly find a client in the casino database.
Maintaining player results – the module allows real-time tracking of the player and viewing the game history of visitors for any selected period of time. Tight integration with the casino cashier module to collect and analyze all financial information about the player. Quick search of players according to various criteria in the casino database and automatic calculation of results, as well as calculation of players’ bonuses based on the results of games.
Results Accounting – the module allows you to quickly record the results of all casino gaming machines. Automatic calculation of the results of the entire casino and each machine is done separately.
Casino Cashier – the module provides full control over all financial transactions and cash flows for any period of time. Automatic generation of reports on the operations is performed.
Also in the process of work, the following software and hardware tools were created to improve the efficiency of the casino:
Video streaming system for real casino roulettes
System of formation and drawing of jackpots through a web application
Advanced access control system
Reporting and analytics system for administrators and business owners
